Back by popular demand, the family studio minis will be held at Studio Ivy in west Reno. These will be for families who don't want to play around with weather and desire a classy, white-walled, minimal look for their portraits.

Studio Minis

This gorgeous lake is located 20 minutes south of Reno in Washoe Valley. It offers mountain backdrops without the trip up to Tahoe as well as sandy dunes if you'd love that coastal feel. It gets breezy here, but I LOVE shoots with wind... and I know how to make it work for us. If you love nature and are okay with a breeze, this location is for you.

I prefer to take my lake clients to Sand Harbor, a beautiful state park on the northeast side of Lake Tahoe. With easy access to paved parking, an easy walk down to the beach and multiple walking paths, boulders and backdrops to choose from, this is my favorite lake location.

Stunning meadow with the Sierras in the background, right at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort. We might have to fight the bugs but this sunset location cannot be beat with the creek, mountains, and sometimes even snow in the background.

One of my favorite sunset session locations. River, rolling hills, mountain background and sagebrush all with beautiful meadow access.

Holiday studio sessions will happen in Reno at Studio Ivy. Multiple holiday sets will be available for families large and small as well as plenty of white wall space for those clean, bright studio photos we all love.

Multiple ponds, walking paths and willow trees make this area in West Reno a favorite for many of us photographers. with hanging leaves of stunning colors, sagebrush, bridges on the ponds and great sunset lighting, this a great photo location due to the many versatile foliage backdrops. October will have beautiful orange willow leaves dripping from the trees!

This meadow is so dreamy. No matter which way I turn, I can never pick a favorite view here. Rustic fall colors will greet us here, surrounded by the meadow grasses and mountains for whatever session we want to dream up for you and your people.

The location that sells out year after year… you just can’t beat the Aspens and their glow. I found a south Reno location for these and I love making client dreams come true with the vibrant colors, no matter the time of year!
